This #BAKING is so intensely satisfying to our minds. It gives us complete satisfaction. It's not the end result always but the whole process of getting the cake baked that is so relishing. You get to learn so much as the slow process consists of measuring, sifting, stirring, whipping & let the dough of the cake be perfectly soft enough else you know the cake wouldn't turn out to be the best. It needs maximum knowledge of science added with talent to understand the importance of the measurements to bake the cake too soft to just let it melt in your mouth when you give the first bite.
